The method
For approval and compounding, start with the FDA. For Texas licences and online care, use Texas law or the licensing board. For tax and Medicare questions, use the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This guide uses “law” for requirements and “guidance” for advice.
FDA approval means the agency reviewed a specific product for a named use; it does not transfer to a compounded or look-alike product.
